Srinivas Institute of Dental Science, one of the Prestigious Institutions of A Shama Rao Foundation Education Trust, Mangalore was started in the year 2012-2013 with under graduate course in dentistry with the Annual intake of 100 students.

It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (Karnataka) and approved by Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India as per the notification.

The college has spacious Ladies & Gents Hostel Building with all amenities in the college campus.

The College has well stocked professional library and it has been accommodated in a separate spacious building with latest edition books on various dental and medical subjects. The college has subscribed to a number of Indian & International Dental Journals to the library. Computer Lab with Broadband Internet with HELINET Facility, Audio Visual Aids for teaching & CD-ROMs on various subjects has been provided.
