Maharashtra Institute of Dental Sciences and Research was established in 2006. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by Dental council of India (DCI) and approved by Government of India. The institute is among the fastest growing dental colleges of the Maharashtra. In order to fulfill their aim, the dental institution has equipped itself with modern facilities. The institution aims to impart quality education to the aspirants. In order to fulfill their aim, the dental college is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

The Institution envisions to create dedicated healthcare professionals, who are globally competitive, morally responsible and fully committed towards the social obligations in general and for the poor and downtrodden rural masses of the Marathwada Region in particular, with a humane and holistic approach.

The Mission of MIDSR Dental College, Latur is “HEALTH FOR ALL” as envisioned by the World 

Health Organization. This is sought to be achieved through state-of-the-art infrastructure and dental facilities, in an academically vibrant environment, through innovative practices in dental education and research, inculcating Social, Moral and Spiritual Values in the Dental Professionals.

It has all the basic facilities like hostel,hospital etc.

Hospital Stats:

Yeshawantrao Chavan Rural Hospital, Latur with 200 beds was formally inaugurated and 1995 the present hospital building with 700 beds capacity was inaugurated at the auspicious hands of  Shri. Sharad Pawar and Shri. Shivraj Patil and today hospital have 610 functional beds in our teaching hospital.
