Vasantdada Patil Dental College and Hospital is located in Sangli. It is a professional institution where a student is trained according to the needs of the society to become a competent dental surgeon. A student, here, is provided with deep knowledge to treat dental and oral aliments with the help of five-year comprehensive course of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S). Vasantdada Patil Dental College and Hospital was established in 1989, and has a private management. The course offered by the college is affiliated to Maharastra University Of Health Science and is approved by Dental Council of India. Each department at Vasantdada Patil Dental College and Hospital has a dedicated team of faculty members who train students by organizing academic lectures, projects, workshops and hands on training. It has separate Girls and Boys Hostels with standard quality of food and lodging facilities.

The College is a self financed institute run by Shri. Vishwanathrao Shamrao Patil Charitable Trust, Sangli. The college is the only Dental College in South Maharashtra. The college was previously affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur but now, the dental college has been affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik. The institute has well equipped with all the modern facilities.  A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students in college various departments.
