Eligibility Criteria

• For admission in the MBBS course, the applicant must have passed his/her 12th grade (or any equivalent examination) with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The subjects studied must have been Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English.
• The applicant must have also secured a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology combined at CET. The same applies for the privileged applicants, who require to score 40%.
• S/he must be 17 years old to apply.

Application Procedure: The application procedure of BVP CET Medical 2016 has commenced from November 30, 2015. Applicants can fillBVP CET 2016 application forms either online or offline mode. An application fee is Rs. 2000 which can be paid through demand draft /cash for offline mode of application procedure. While for online registration, the application fee should be paid through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Demand Draft.

Entrance Exam Pattern and Content:

• ·   The MBBS course under BVDU has a total of 300 seats, 150 at Pune and another 150 at Sangli.
• ·   The examination will be of 3 hours and comprise of 200 questions. There will be 50 questions each on Physics and Chemistry. The rest 100 questions will be asked on Biology. There are no negative markings.

Admit Card:  The Admit card for BVP CET Medical 2016 will be sent by post to the candidates. The admission cards will have the information like Roll Number and Examination Center allotted to the candidate with its address.

Result: The result forBVP CET UG Medical 2016 will be declared on June 4, 2016 for the qualified candidates as per the criteria mentioned in the admission brochure. Various factors such as availability of seat, number of applicants, difficulty level of the entrance exam etc. will be used as determinants to set cut off or qualifying marks.

Merit List: The merit list will be prepared as the candidate’s rank in the entrance exam. The University will prepare merit list for category candidates who have appeared for CET 2016 in accordance with the total marks obtained by them in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in it. As per their ranking in this list, the candidates will be called in for counselling and on spot admissions to the MBBS/BDS courses in various colleges of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. 

Counselling: The counseling letters will be sent to candidates as per the merit list declared by the examination authority.Counseling will be done in offline mode i.e. candidates have to appear in person as per the schedule allotted to them. BVP CET Medical 2016 Counselling is scheduled to be held from June 18 - July 03, 2016. The allotment of MBBS and BDs seats will be done as per the candidate’s rank in merit list.The venue for the counselling will be Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Pune.
