Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital, Bangalore was established by the Vokkaligara Sangha and the Sangha is still running and managing the college. The Sangha is working on developing the entire educational scenario of the state through opening new educational institutions. The main objectives of the college include imparting quality education in the field of Dental Surgery and allied subjects. The college is aimed at imparting quality training for academic and clinical skills and also in bringing out professionals with high ethical values.

Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital (VSDC & H), Bengaluru was established in 1986, was affiliated to Bangalore University. The Institution started its first batch with 52 students and the current intake for bachelor of Dental Surgery is 100. It is presently affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The College got it recognition from D.C.I. in 1992. Dental Council of India has permitted post graduate studies in 2001 in all the Dentistry specialities. The colloge is located in the heart of the city close to main rail and bus station.
