CBSE Releases List Of Courses To Apply After Passing Class 12

CBSE class 12 exams are being conducted across the Nation. Meanwhile, many institutes have already started their admission process. Get the complete list of courses suggested by CBSE after class 12th.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an exhaustive list of courses to pursue after class 12 under its latest ‘student-friendly’ initiative. Name of the college, eligibility criteria and other details related to the respective course is also added under this exclusive list.

Chairperson of CBSE, Anita Karwal in the report shared by Indianexpress stated that

“As a sequel to the ongoing initiatives, CBSE has prepared a compendium of suggestive courses for students which will help them get information about various course choices, institutes and combinations available in higher education beforehand after class 10 itself, ” 

India is home to 900+ universities and 41,000 colleges. India has the highest number of educational institutions as per the survey. CBSE have covered the most of the traditional, new age and popular courses under this list.

“The purpose of this compendium is to generate enough curiosity in the students to explore further on the scope, possibilities, avenues, for each of these courses and to look for other options beyond these courses as well,” said Karwal.

CBSE's list covers 113 career options which also includes art restoration, actuarial sciences, public relations, corporate intelligence, engineering, liberal studies and languages, paramedical and allied health science, and related colleges and courses. This long list of courses and careers after class 12th is of 122 pages which is available at the official website, cbse.nic.in.
